Strong story

New on Netflix - film “Farha” by Jordanian director Darina J.Sallam already touched many souls, as The New York Times described it : “The cruelest story of growing up.”
The film brings us back to the year 1948, year of Palestinian catastrophe - Nakba. The example of a 14-year-old teenager girl shows how in one day life can be completely destroyed. The pain that many Palestinian families had to go through reflected in this girl. She dreamed about going to school and building up her future but these dreams got vanished in one moment.
When the conflict begins, Farha, not understanding the danger, jumps out of the car so as not to leave his father alone. He has no choice but to hide her in the basement, where she sits during the shelling and watches as the war destroys her house.
